Dear Parents,
For many years, we have collected tuition in-house. At the end of each year large amounts of tuition
were still owed and the administrative office must collect this tuition, which results in an increase in the
overall cost of operating the school. This is not consistent with our desire to be good stewards of what
God has entrusted to us. Therefore, in the fall of 2009 we completed our transition to FACTS
Management Company, who is used by over 4,000 schools nationally and handles approximately $3
billion in tuition every year, to help us manage our tuition payment program. The program will enable
us to project costs and income figures on a more solid basis so that, in future years, tuition increases
can be minimized. Families will only have the option to pay their child’s tuition in one of the following
two ways:
1. Full payment of tuition by August 10, 2010. This payment should be made directly to the school and
entitles you to a 3% tuition discount.
2. Ten automatic monthly payments through the FACTS payment plan starting in August 2010.
Please
read the enclosed brochure for more details. Also, note the fee to budget through FACTS.
If you decide not to pay your child(ren)’s tuition annually, you will authorize automatic bank payments
to be made on a predetermined date (either the 5th or the 20th) each month directly from your checking
or savings account using FACTS. It is important to note that FACTS and Calvary Christian School
will never have any direct access to your account. The automatic payment process is strictly controlled
by banking regulations to be absolutely confidential and limited to what has been authorized. Also,
please note that your child’s name will not be added to the class roster until you have completed your
online registration with FACTS.
Having used FACTS to handle my tuition while in seminary, I am very excited that we have completed this
transition. As our student population continues to grow, it will allow our staff to devote more time to
the mission of the school – creating an environment that encourages students to develop their
individual talents and sharing those talents with others while giving living witness to the message of
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I trust you understand our decision and will cooperate with us as we
continue our ministry.
If you have any questions concerning FACTS, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email.
