The middle and high school years are some of the most formative in a young person's life. Gospel Literacy Graduation Requirement

One of the distinctive goals of a Calvary education is Gospel literacy.

If you ask a Christian, "What is the gospel?" or "How do I get to Heaven?" there is a very good chance they will either tell you something unbiblical ("be a good person," "get baptized," "go to church") or they won't have any response at all. This is a crisis. This is the most important information we could ever know or share! Therefore,  every graduate of Calvary Christian School is expected to demonstrate the ability to accurately explain the Gospel of Jesus Christ directly from Scripture. Throughout middle and high school, students receive ongoing instruction, discussion, assessment, and opportunities to communicate the Gospel so they graduate prepared not only to understand their faith, but to confidently share it with others.

Graduate Outcomes

Calvary graduates finish their high school education well-prepared for college (with many having already taken several college classes as part of their dual-enrollment program). Our seniors have been accepted into competitive college/university programs, including those at the Eastman School of Music, NC State School of Engineering, and more.

 

At Calvary, graduation is measured by more than credits earned. It is measured by the knowledge, wisdom, character, and biblical conviction students carry with them into the rest of their lives.
